DigitalGlue to Showcase Live Broadcast Solutions for Transmission over the Public Internet at WFX Louisville

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA – September 16, 2016 – DigitalGlue, an engineering firm that provides equipment, integration, and software development services, is exhibiting at WFX Worship Facilities Conference and Expo 2016, which is being held in Louisville, KY from September 20 – 22, in booth 1109. The company will demonstrate how houses of worship can transition from broadcasting via satellite and cable to IP.

“After attending the WFX REACH events in May, it became very clear that most houses of worship will soon need to switch to IP, and DigitalGlue is primed and ready to help churches make the transition feasibly and cost effectively,” explains Dave Gordon, Vice President of Engineering at DigitalGlue. Gordon’s colleague and Senior Sales Engineer at DigitalGlue, John Brendle, also added that “DigitalGlue will demonstrate current broadcasting systems developed for houses of worship that include Harmonic and other network devices that enhance broadcast quality and efficiency.”

DigitalGlue will demonstrate technology solutions necessary for Houses of Worship to deliver reliable, low cost, live broadcast-quality video over public Internet. These solutions, comprised of best-in-breed products from the Harmonic® product line, will feature: the Electra X™ advanced media processor, the industry’s first fully converged platform for broadcast and OTT delivery of SD, HD, and UHD content; VideoFlow DVP Protector and Sentinel, which enables the delivery of live, error-free, high quality video over standard Internet connections; and TAG MCM-9000, an IP based monitoring solution for content over MPEG-TS, that enables monitoring of high number of channels and creates a mosaic wall.
