VOS and VOS-based Electra XVM Virtualized Media Processor Awarded “Best of Show” at 2014 NAB Show by TV Technology Magazine
Harmonic is proud to announce that both VOS and VOS-based Electra XVM received TV Technology’s “Best of Show” awards at NAB in April from among hundreds of new products nominated. Our VOS platform and architecture was selected as a winner for its potential to bring operational simplicity, flexibility and efficiency to the media processing and delivery ecosystem. The Electra XVM product can leverage data center capacity on demand according to the mix of codecs and formats used, from MPEG-2 to HEVC Ultra HD. These awards acknowledge Harmonic’s leadership in shaping the future of video production and delivery.
